We’re elevating the hot dog game – these aren’t your average franks. We sliced our Snake River Gourmet Frankfurters down the middle, seasoned with Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub and seared them on our Blackstone. Once warmed and on a hoagie bun, we topped them with all the best ingredients including cheeses, mustard, relish, chiles, salsa, jalapenos – the sky’s the limit. Below are the recipes for homemade sweet relish and Chicago coney relish.

Street Dog Combos:
Outlaw Southwest Dog: salsa, diced red onions, green hatch chiles, nacho cheese
Chicago Outlaw Dog: Chicago coney relish, stone-ground mustard, sport peppers
Rickalicious: sweet relish, diced red onions, shredded cheddar cheese
Tum-Run Dog: sweet relish, stone-ground mustard, red diced onions
Beef Rub
Black Pepper, salt and garlic is perfect to elevate your burger game. We used it on the patties, as well as on the diced onions for some extra flavor. Small: 7.0 oz | Large: 13.8 oz
Sweet Relish
Ingredients
- 6 Green bell peppers chopped
- 2 Cabbage chopped
- 2 Onions chopped
- 2 Green tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 cup Salt
- 1 tbsp Mustard seed
- 1/2 tsp Celery seed
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric
- 3 cups Sugar
- 2 cups White vinegar
- 2 cups Cold water
Instructions
- Pulse green bell peppers, cabbage, onions and tomatoes until minced.
- Drain and add to bowl.
- Sprinkle with salt, cover and place in fridge for 8 hours.
- In separate bowl, mix mustard seed, celery seed, turmeric, sugar, white vinegar and water.
- Pour over vegetables and stir.
- Pour mixture in a pot and bring to a boil for 5-10 minutes.
- Store in refrigerator.
Chicago Coney Relish
Ingredients
- 1 Tomato diced
- 1 Onion diced
- 4-6 Sport peppers diced
- 2 Dill pickle spears diced
- 3 tbsp Sweet relish
- 2 tsp Yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp Poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp Celery salt or seeds
Instructions
- Stir vegetables, relish, mustard, poppy seeds and celery salt in a bowl.
- Store in refrigerator.
