we use 60%-70% lean ground chuck
Mustard
Olive oil
Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub
Sweet onions
diced
American cheese

Condiments of your choice
we use pickles, tomatoes, lettuce

Smash Burger Sauce

Instructions
Coat diced onions with olive oil and Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub, caramelize on griddle.
Make hamburger into 1/3 lb patties.
Brush on mustard (as a binder) and add a light coat of Montana Outlaw BBQ Beef Rub. Flip the patties and repeat.
Place patties on hot griddle and smash using spatula or burger press.
Once patties are cooked to medium, add sliced American cheese and warm until melted.
Meanwhile, coat inside of buns with olive oil and toast on griddle.
Assemble smash burger with condiments of your choice and smash burger sauce.
Smash Burger Sauce
Mix ingredients together and place in the fridge until you’re ready to use.
Notes
If you want your smash burger sauce a little spicier, we suggest adding a little sriracha.
